Introduction of Water Quality Analyzer

- Jun 15, 2020-

Humans are inseparable from life and production activities. The quality of drinking water is closely related to human health. With the development of social economy, scientific progress and the improvement of people's living standards, people's requirements for the quality of drinking water have been continuously improved, and the standards for drinking water quality have been continuously developed and improved accordingly. Since the establishment of drinking water quality standards is related to many factors such as people ’s living habits, culture, economic conditions, scientific and technological development levels, water resources and water quality status, not only between countries, but also between different regions of the same country, There are differences in drinking water quality requirements. Water is the source of life. The safety of drinking water is related to the health and safety of the people and must be given great attention and guaranteed.

Multi-parameter water quality online analyzer, also known as multi-parameter water quality automatic monitoring integrated system, is suitable for: water source monitoring, environmental protection monitoring station, municipal water treatment process, municipal pipe network water quality supervision, rural tap water monitoring; circulating cooling water, swimming pool water operation management, Industrial water source recycling, factory aquaculture and other fields.

The water quality analyzer mainly adopts the ion selective electrode measurement method to achieve accurate detection. Electrodes on the instrument: PH, fluorine, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and reference electrode. Each electrode has an ion-selective membrane that reacts with the corresponding ions in the sample being tested. The membrane is an ion exchanger that reacts with the ionic charge to change the membrane potential to detect the potential between the liquid, the sample and the membrane . The difference in the two potentials detected on both sides of the membrane will generate a current. The sample, reference electrode, and reference electrode liquid form the "loop" side, and the membrane, internal electrode liquid, and internal electrode are the other side.

The difference in ion concentration between the internal electrode solution and the sample generates an electrochemical voltage on both sides of the membrane of the working electrode. The voltage is led to the amplifier through the highly conductive internal electrode, and the reference electrode is also led to the amplifier. The calibration curve is obtained by detecting an accurate standard solution of known ion concentration, thereby detecting the ion concentration in the sample.

When the measured ion in the solution contacts the electrode, ion migration occurs in the aqueous layer of the ion selective electrode matrix. There is a potential to change the charge of the migrated ions, so that the potential between the membrane surfaces changes, and a potential difference is generated between the measurement electrode and the reference electrode.

The water quality analyzer is an instrument that analyzes the harmful substances of water. The water quality analyzer mainly uses the ion selective electrode measurement method to achieve accurate detection. It is suitable for: water source monitoring, environmental protection monitoring station, municipal water treatment process, municipal pipe network water quality Supervision, rural tap water monitoring; circulating cooling water, swimming pool water operation management, industrial water source recycling, factory aquaculture and other fields.
